Content: In this course we will give an introduction to relativistic quantum field theories  including gauge theories. We will discuss the following topics:

  • Quantum Electrodynamics
  • Scalar Quantum Electrodynamics
  • CPT Theorem
  • Path Integrals

  • Non-Abelian gauge theories
  • Anomalies
  • Effective Potential
  • Effective theories
  • Others

Prerequisite:  Request permission of the Instructor.

Evaluation: The final grade will be a combination of the results in the homeworks (40%) and final exam (60%).
